Hi and welcome to the community
Sorry I don't know anything about this condition
Maybe you can find out more about it on the NHS website -
Hi @kerry50 and a warm welcome to our community. I'm sorry you're in so much pain, that sounds really tough
I've moved your thread to our Physical impairments and mobility issues category as a little research told me that Coxa valga is a problem with the hip bone, with an increased angle between the femoral neck and femoral shaft. Did you have an MRI to find this out?
It's disappointing when input from GP's doesn't feel enough, are you under the care of a hospital specialist now too? Also, would you considering asking to change GP's to get a second opinion on the long-term management of your pain? Something many of our members have found useful is a referral to a pain clinic so that's something you could potentially explore the next time you contact your GP. Here's a NHS webpage containing more information about what pain clinics do.
I'm so sorry we can't offer more personalised support, however as we're not medically trained it'd be best to speak to a healthcare professional. I know life with chronic pain can be hard (to say the least) but you are amongst a community of people who 'get it' here so please do lean on us if you ever want to talk more or vent.
Take care and I have everything crossed for your pain levels easing soon.Online Community Co-ordinator

@Cher_Scope I've been referred to the hospital but I'm still waiting to hear from them. It seems most doctors don't have much knowledge about it. Thank you for your advice though I really do appreciate it.

@kerry50 No problem, I hope you aren't waiting too long for an appointment. I know with the pandemic there are lots of backlogs so it could be worth giving the relevant department a call to see how long you can expect to wait, emphasising the pain you're experiencing.
If you could keep us updated with any progress that would be appreciated. Wishing you all the best.
