Hi does anyone have any advice about MR from pip please. I did one in may and I got a call from someone at dwp last week and they asked me further questions to support my claim and also made a note of the things they got wrong. She said I will hear in a week if I was successful. Also do you know how long they take to pay arrears from MR

She told me id get it by Wednesday or Thursday on the call? Did they not mention how long? Oh i just read your post again! Sorry so it should be about 3 days from the decision? If sending out you may get payment before letter as some others have? But id wait a week and call them they can tell you exactly when ??

Hi there
Impossible to say really
The decision could take longer than the time they quoted due to workload
The payment then needs to be calculated and authorised and then clear in your account
Every case is different and there are no fixed timescales1 -
@susieb45 I was in the same situation as you, telephone call re MR and no indication at that point what *new* outcome would be. I received the arrears in account three days later, and the letter confirming new award quite a few days after that. This was in January this year. However, as @janer1967 wisely counsels, it really is impossible to say due to so many stages in the process. Good luck!1

@Emilyb81 Hiya thank you for your reply hun.Glad you got your award ?? The dwp rang me on a Sunday gone which I thought was odd, I nearly missed the call??♀️she asked a few questions in regards to my MR and she said I would get a letter in 7days so look out it. So just wondered how long to get any payments after the letter. But thank you will just wait and see, hopefully soon. I also did an application for esa just sent my fit note to them via email. I've been told to apply for universal credit, but its confusing. Will get more info on it.0
