Hi.  Can somebody advise.
I am splitting up with my wife and she informed UC of the change. I had a work capability assesment when claiming with wife and was awarded LCWRA. However now it seems like to hey are treating me as a new claim. They are asking me for birth certificate for my son who lives with me and even more concerning is on my claim details it is saying I have advised them of health issues but I may have to be assessed b4 they can pay me. Does that mean I am now not LCWRA and they have ignored it.

They should continue paying you the LCWRA element.
I suggest you post a note on your journal reminding them that you have already been assessed and awarded LCWRA.
If you previously provided your son's birth certificate as part of the joint claim you could remind them of that - but if they are not satisfied that could delay you getting the child element included in your payment.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
