Good evening ever one I had a message from dwp saying
Thanks for sending us your 'How your disability affects you' form. We may need you to attend a consultation with a health professional before we make our decision. We'll contact you again if we do. Please call us if any of the details you gave us have changed. What will happen next ? Do I wait for a health assessment appointment

Hi, yes they will look through your information and if need be they will send you a letter and or txt to tell you an appointment has been made for you. Good luck, just be honest and you shouldn’t go wrong. ?1

Hi @tanbang - & welcome to the community. As Marie says, you will be advised as to when you will be assessed, as most people are. Due to the pandemic you might have quite a wait before such an assessment, unfortunately. I've had a PIP assessment, but this was prior to the Covid pandemic, so now things are taking longer.

Welcome to the community @tanbang
Just to let you know, I've renamed your post and moved it into our PIP category.
I hope that the above replies have been helpful. We get lots of people posting about PIP assessments, so please feel free to ask any further questions you might have about the process. How are you feeling about the prospect of an assessment? How did you find completing the form?0 -
thank you ?0

Hello everyone I finally had my tribunal last Friday. I see somewhere on here when someone won the tribunal. The DWP took it to an upper court. Is this correct? Does this happen to everyone?0

Just as you would be if you lost, DWP have a right to appeal to the tribunal if they think there has been an error of law. Before they can do this they would need to obtain a Statement of reasons from the tribunal. It is unusual for DWP to appeal but it does sometimes happen.tanbang said:Hello everyone I finally had my tribunal last Friday. I see somewhere on here when someone won the tribunal.
