I've completed my review form, but they haven't confirmed they've received it. What will happen?

Hi ? you really should call them hun because they can say if they have received it or not? Texts don't always go through? And they will also tell you if payments will stop? At least then it will put your mind at rest? And if you do now you may get through quick i waited til 2 or 3 before and was ages on hold! Hope you get it sorted!

I only ask because it does take several weeks for them to actually receive post i sent a few things in recently and they all took 3 weeks from when i sent them in to be put onto the system as there's currently a backlog! So if its been longer than 3 or 4 weeks let them know when you sent it in and its maybe got lost and see what they suggest you do? Because they may send another form out and give you another 4 weeks ? As long as they know whats going on they should be able to help? I mean i doubt its the first time someone's sent something in and they havent got it! ???

Hi if if it helps, my form was to be sent back by 5th July, it was posted on the 3rd of July by recorded delivery 1st class post. I called to check they had received it, they said indeed they had, however it wasn’t uploaded onto their system til the 6th of July. She assured me this wasn’t a problem as they and I could prove it was returned to them on they date requested. When I had my telephone assessment on the 29th it was clear she had my present form as she was relaying information from it, not things from previous forms which has happened before.

    Good luck on your journey.

It’s  not really, I meant to say in my earlier post, they had sent my details to IAS on 17th June in absence of my form (which I dutifully complained about) why give someone a date to send all their info when they go ahead and do that? How can they give a decision on nothing? Anyway, that date would have triggered the assessment date, so you’re talking 6 weeks from them doing that til the phone call assessment, but as I said come the assessment she did have all the necessary info, if anything, their maladministration got me assessment quicker! Every grey cloud has a silver lining!

    Kind regards.

But yeah my forms were loaded onto system quickly, I don’t know if that’s because it was accompanied by a letter of complaint? Who knows?

Just wanted to say you can get proof of postage free i think? I was told there's no point wasting money for recorded delivery or signed for because the people and place that sign for it from dwp end are nowhere near where it needs to go? And can be several weeks after its been delivered/signed before they are actually put onto system so it can still go missing after being "delivered" but thats just what ive been advised since coming on here its their internal post system that holds it up ?? but defo making copies of everything we send is very good idea because i forget what day it is half the time so i rarely remember what I've written weeks ago! So its good to have it there to refer back to? And obviously it keeps things for our records like they do their end ?? very good idea! Goodnight peeps have a nice week whats left of it anyway ??☀️

I always make my own copy of every document or letter that I send. Always send everything to them that can be  be tracked and needs signatures.
    that way you have proof.

There’s absolutely no need for signed for or special delivery. Once you send it off it goes to a mail sorting centre whereby your post is signed for by RM staff, then it’s passed to the DWP who can potentially take weeks to scan it onto the system. It’s just a waste of money. Free proof of posting is sufficient plus a copy of what you have sent.
