Dwp says within  8 weeks   been two weeks tomorow  last time  I applied cane back in two  weeks  saying  no   so may be if takes longer    might be yes

    I wouldn't read too much into how long it takes, we've seen people get really fast decisions and others having to wait, it can often depend on how busy they are in your area.
    But good luck anyway !

    Hi and welcome to the community 

    How long you wait for the decision has no impact on the award it's purely down to the work load of the decision maker 

    There are no fixed timescales but dwp are estimating 8 to 10 weeks

    From my past experience  took  week to 2 to  say  no   when I've applied in past

    Unfortunately, as others have said, the time taken to receive a decision doesn't indicate whether a claim has been successful or not but we will keep our fingers crossed for you.
