Hi, my name is 27for2! How long to wait for PIP decision?

Hello I applied for pip in February 2021
I was told they received it on 23rd Feb I got my assessment on the 21st July 2021
I was told 8 weeks before they reply I rang yesterday they told me it was in a queue to be looked at is thos normal time scale as the lady said there was no time limit on how long it will take

Hello @27for2 - welcome to the community & thank you for joining. Yes, we have been hearing that the advice given is that it's on average 8 weeks before you get your decision letter, unfortunately. Hopefully you hear sooner rather than later.0
