If I get put on the support group of ESA, does my UC claim continue or shut down?

When I research for this particular question, I always get contradicting answers.
I had expired my 12 months of ESA pre-assessment so had to enrol over at UC to tide me by. I was advised to do this. My ESA assessment has now been completed, and I am awaiting a decision.
If I am in the support group of ESA (which I expect to be), not only will I be entitled to more funds (how much?) but what happens to my UC claim?

If you are put in the Support Group your ESA payments will be reinstated and you will be paid arrears.
Because you will then have been in the ESA Support Group at the start of your UC claim you will be entitled to the LCWRA element. UC will have to recalculate your entitlement to include the LCWRA but will have to deduct the ESA. Whether or not you are still entitled to some UC as well as the ESA will depend on your household circumstances.0
