Good Things CAN Happen - PIP Award!

Hi all
I applied for PIP earlier in the year. I had my telephone assessment and got a copy of the report. The report said I got 6 points for Daily Living and 0 for Mobility. I immediately wrote to them saying where I disagreed and giving them a description of my typical day. I was all prepared to put in an MR BUT... today I got the letter and they have given me 8 points DL and 10 Mobility so I get standard rate in both until June 2024! I cannot tell you what a relief this is. It just goes to show what can happen even if your report is not what you expected. Thanks to everyone who has helped on here.

@Justcheckingin15 and @janer1967. I was so sure they would go with the assessors report that I didn't even look at my bank balance. Turns out the backdated payment went in 3 days ago!0

I honestly didn't realise how stressed about it I was. When I read the letter it was a surprise and a huge relief too.1
