Im having a nightmare with this esa/UC at the moment so basically i was told by the UC that i have LCWRA and that i would be put into that group i also get ESA contribution but when i spoke to a lady the first time she told me the ESA shadow what UC say so i would go in to the support group also and be paid an extra amount a month so i rang up again yesterday to ask when it would be and the lady said my ESA wouldn't go up as UC did the decision i am so confused could anyone shed some light on the situation please thank you.

If you are found to have LCWRA for UC then you will also be put in the ESA Support Group. Your ESA payments will increase to £228.20/fortnight. This increased ESA amount will be deducted from your UC but your UC maximum amount will include the LCWRA element.
The exact timing of the increases depends on when you made your claims.
