Hello @yusuf1mohamed
Welcome to the community, good to see you join.
Is there anything in particular that your brother is struggling with at the minute? Of course Scope has many services, which you can read about here, but there might be some that are more fitting for him at this moment in time. Furthermore, there are a lot of information pages that you can read on the website.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Hello Ross, well to be honest, ever since the lockdown my brother had gained an extreme amount of weight so I’m looking for something that will help him lose weight as well as having activities to do . Also we have a major housing issue affecting my brother so if anyone has information on scope which can help with that as well . Thank you guys ?

Hello @yusuf1mohamed
Thanks for your reply, is he aware of the NHS weight loss application? I only discovered it recently, but it's free on smartphones and offers tips about how you could go about losing weight. It might be something to check out, find further information here on the NHS website.
Sorry to hear that he is having trouble with housing, what is the issue?Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Thank you very much for the advice. The issue with our current house is that there is a lot of mould and damp . Also he struggles with stairs and mobility around the house including the bathroom .

I would suggest you self refer for a care needs assessment
You can do this on the gov website
A ot will come out and assess the housing and make recommendations for any adaptions or aids required and forward the report to relevant authorities -
Thank you , we had a ot come over 1 month ago to asses . We are just waiting now . Nevertheless, I highly appreciate the help from everyone .
