Tonight the most wonderful thing happened, a surprise payment came into my bank account just past midnight, it was the Personal Independence Payment backpay. Now there's just the letter to wait for.
I'm writing this with tears in my eyes and thanking God, this means so much, I can move to independent living and afford therapy sessions.
My heart is full, I haven't been able to sleep properly in months since my autism diagnosis and accepting that I needed so much help and could no longer cope, it's been so hard.
I feel validated, I feel accepted, and most importantly, for everyone here who wished me luck and kept me in your thoughts, I feel like I had friends.
Thank you all, you are an incredible community.
