Thanks everyone for your good wishes
Been referred for chest xray and spirometry function test and been prescribed inhalers
Also repeating kidney function test in few weeks
I'm going to look into vape to help quit smoking1 -

Do take some positivity from a young A&E doctor I met a couple of years ago, she reiterated that the lungs do have "the amazing capability to heal"
(I don't smoke myself, but have had asthma from childhood)

@janer1967 i'm sorry to hear this and hope you're not waiting too long for those results.As for giving up smoking, i'm another one that joined the no smoking club and it's been about 20 months for me now. I also use a vape but could never smoke again. In fact, i'm one of those people that now hate the smell of cigarette smoke.If you need some advice about vapes then i'll be happy to help with that so please just PM me and i'll be happy to send you some links. With all the different types of vapes available now, it can get really confusing.0

Glad Diabetes under control fingers crossed for kidney test to be ok. Waiting for my endoscopy and contrast MRI tests to come back to see if Crohns is flaring again.0
