Hello @rew197979
Welcome to the community, good to see you join us.
I am sorry to hear that you are anxious, is there anything about the PIP process in particular that is making you feel that way?0 -
All you can do now is wait for the decision
You have got through the hard steps
Decision take around 8 to 10 weeks from assessment date
You can request a copy of the report but not always advised as can cause stress as it is not the decision just the assessors recommendations0 -
rew197979 said:I had my phone assessment a week agoThen there's nothing more you can do except wait for the decision. Some people choose to request a copy of the report but this isn't the decision, only a recommendation. Others wait because it can course more anxiety. If successful and it's a first time claim (without transferring from DLA) then very often money goes into the bank before you receive the decision letter.0

I suffer from really bad anxiety the phone call was a lot to I think I feel like if they turn me down there there saying my illness’s arnt real I did have pip in 2016 for a year then they stopped it as they didn’t think my illness was so bad I didn’t fight for it as I knew it would make me poorly I just didn’t have the energy to fight it0

Thank you I was going to request a copy but pip adviser said it would probably make my anxiety worse like u guys have said I find it hard to relax I’m also waiting for a moving date there’s a lot going on x0

You haven't been turned down and may not be
If you are then I suggest you get some expert advice from welfare rights to help you appeal
It's not about them thinking yog are not ill they vet rarely question that . What they look at is your ability to do the task for each descriptor
Good luck and let us know how you get on0 -
So I got zero points and lie lie lies in the report I’m so upset and angry I would love to be healthy and not have issues that my kids help with because I Carnt do myself ive asked for reconsideration I know that’s not very easy to get a good decision do a lot of people get this too0

Hi @rew197979 I'm so sorry for your outcome, but I understand how you feel, as I went through the same, have you got someone to help you to do the MR, I would strongly recommend it.0
