Hi and welcome to the community
Decision take around 8 to 10 weeks
Your claim hasn't been as long as some are experiencing the estimate is 10 months from start to finish
Hope you hear back soon0 -
Hi @Hennessy12 - & welcome to the community. I'm pleased Jane has advised as to the average waiting times to get a decision after an assessment.0

Welcome to the community @Hennessy12 Thanks for sharing your experiences with PIP so far. Just to let you know, I've moved your post into our PIP category and renamed it slightly so that it's easier for other members to find.
Have you and your son been coping okay while you wait to hear back about the decision? How do you feel the assessment went?0 -
I started in Feb 2021 and until today I got no decision yet (AUG 2021) I had two letters that say's, "we now have all the information we need and we will send you our decision in 8 weeks"0
