Hi! I've not submitted continuous fit notes, will this impact arrears if I'm placed in LCWRA group?

Hi im am currently on Universal Credit with the LCW element which came from ESA and I was given it straight away in my claim as I had previously been in a joint claim. I got my assessment in February last year and after eventually putting in a complaint after being told several times I was due for a phone consultation but I had that on Friday with the aim of going onto LCWRA which I think it went well as my carer was with me and the assessor didn't feel the need into my mental health as she said she felt she had enough information just with what we gave her. What im worried about now is because I haven't handed in fit notes throughout the time as when I spoke to Universal Credit when it came up on my journal they said it wasn't necessary but when reading info about getting backdated money im concerned I want get any due to have had not sent in fit notes which I find to be unfair as I was told this would not affect my claim all I can find is conflicting information I was wondering if you could clear it up basically will I not be entitled to backdated money IF im given LCWRA? Thank you xx

Hi,If you reported a worsening of condition and started the review process off yourself then it will be backdated if you're placed into the LCWRA group. If DWP started the review off then unfortunately, you won't receive any backdated money and the extra money will be paid from the assessment period in which the decision was made.0
