Scope’s Policy team is looking into the barriers faced by families with young disabled children at everyday activities, such as playgrounds. We want to understand how inclusive these activities are and the impact this can have on the families of disabled children.
We are looking to set up focus groups of parents and carers of disabled children, age 10 or younger. These groups will help Scope understand the experiences of families and create recommendations that will have the most impact.
These focus groups will take place online and will be offered at different times to fit around parents and carers busy schedules. You will only need to be part of one session which will last about 90 minutes. As a thank you for your contribution, focus groups members will receive a £40 voucher that can be used at many places.
If you are interested in taking part, we would love to hear from you. Please email Emma Vogelmann, the Lead Policy Advisor for Children and Young People, on emma.vogelmann@scope.org.uk
