Looking for Accessible accommodation in Norwich with ceiling track hoist!

Hello there my name is Nu [they/them]
I am doing some extra film work in Norwich next week and I'm struggling to find some accessible accommodation. What I need is a room with either a ceiling track hoist or a profiling bed. I've gone to almost every reputable hotel sites including some exclusively disabled holiday sites and I'm struggling to find anything. I've gone on community forums and Facebook groups for community areas in Norwich trying to find something that might be good for my situation. My friend told me to come to this group and ask if anybody in the Norwich area knew of anything that could help me. I looked into hiring a mobile hoist for the night but I can only hire it for a week maximum and it's really expensive. I just find it really difficult to believe that there is not an accessible option with either a hoist or a profiling bed in the city of Norwich. Thank you so much for reading!

Welcome to the community @bigNU999
I searched online earlier to see if I could find anything. A few places, mainly cottages, in the Norwich area came up but I imagine that these are ones you will have come across anyway, and none of them seemed to be close to the city centre.
I'm not familiar with Norwich, so I'm not really able to help out on that front either. I've moved your post into a different category and marked it as unanswered to improve its visibility. I hope that someone with some local knowledge will see your post! If you get any suggestions from the other groups you've joined, please do let us know.
What kind of film work are you doing? It sounds exciting! -
Hi @bigNU999
I have had a search for you and I could only find these hotels CHuC - UK Hotels with ceiling hoists - Ceiling Hoist users Club
It might be worth contacting the website to see if they know of anything in Norwich. Could you perhaps stay outside of Norwich and commute in? You shouldn't have to of course!Scope
