Hi I’m new to this and wondered if anyone has had the same similar problem to me last year I was told my pip was going to be extended until jan 2022 due to the pandemic. In December 2020 I was sent an form to send back within 30 days to reassess or my money could stop I had a telephone assessment beginning of May and received a text on the 7th of May informing me that they have received my report and should hear within 8 weeks.I telephoned them after 12 and was told they didn’t no why it wasn’t done and would chase it up and I also asked for a copy of my report it’s now been 18 weeks and still have not heard nothing or received the report is anyone else having similar problems please

HI,That does seem rather a long time. It has been known for reports to get lost somewhere a long the line. Hopefully this hasen't happened to you.Unless the decision was made, you kept the same award (with an extended time) and haven't received any decision letter. We can only really guess. All you can do is ring DWP to ask what's happening with your PIP review.

Thank you when I rang a lady told me it’s with the assessor and would chase it up so hopefully it’s not lost but just seemed strange that I didn’t get the report either I no with the pandemic probably a big back log I just wondered if I should just hold on0

If you had a text message on 7th May saying DWP have received your report back then it can't still be with the assessors, unless it's been returned back for some reason or another, which can happen. There has been delays with decisoin's because of backlogs but to wait since May for a decision is rather a long time.
