No PIP assessment needed - inference possible?

Hi,
Applied for PIP back in April, last week a member of my medical team got a call asking for clarification of a few details. They then told her there’s no need for an assessment and they’ll send the medical report off to the DWP DM.
I assume this means some sort of award, but is any inference possible as to whether it’s likely to be enhanced/enhanced, or is it just the medical assessor deciding they have the info they need and pot luck?
many thanks
ps. I’ve been advised to change from the work activity to the support group on ESA. Any idea how we can get this started/applied for?
many thanks.

Contact DWP to report a worsening of condition.

Thanks both! Found it strange as the DWP had told us that everybody needs an assessment from an HCP.0

That just goes to show that you shouldn't ask them for advice. When you ring DWP it's not actually anyone from DWP you speak to, it's a call centre and a lot of them have very little experience or knowledge with benefits Paper based assessments are rare but do happen. I've had one and my daughter's had 2..

I applied for the higher rate ,enhanced ,as my condition has got worse .I have been to two tribunals before ,although I have the same condition as a lot of other people ,copd ,and arthritis, degenerated hip joints ,I never seem to get enough points ,I always only get ten ,I don’t understand why some get it and others don’t ,.yet I see the same faces walking around town shopping ,in the pubs ,driving a new car every three years ,the husband gets a disability car every three years ,tax and insurance ,all maintained.yet their walking around like theirs nothing wrong with them ,
it amazes me .0 -

it amazes me .Oh dear. It amazes me why some people compare their self to others and why some people claim they know that some have this award and that award when there seems to be nothing wrong with them. Please don't compare yourself to others because that's so wrong. There is something called "invisible" conditions, a person may seems perfectly "normal" on the outside but on the inside it's a completely different stroy. My daughter is one of them, she can walk, run, skip, jump, wash herself, feed herself and looks completely "normal." However, she can't be left alone to cook or prepare food, she can't run her own bath because she doesn't understand the temperate of the water, she's 20 but has never stepped foot outside alone and she can't even count the money in her purse. She claims Enhanced for both parts.PIP is not awarded based on any diagnosis, nor how you look. It's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activity based on the PIP descriptors. Two people can have the same conditions but be affected totally differently because no 2 people are the same.Just because a condition has got worse, this doesn't mean you're automatically entitled to a higher award.0 -
not all disability can be seen thank you
