Hi I have my work capability assessment on Saturday. I have been handing in my fitnotes since 28 02 2019. Will I get my money backdated even though there are gaps in my fitnotes as I couldn't get an appointment at my surgery alot of the time. Although I sent in alot of fitnotes but missed a few. Will I still be paid for the gaps as I kept my workcoach informed.

    HI and welcome,

If the decision is LCWRA then the extra money is usually paid from the 4th month of your claim after you reported your health condition. However, there needs to be no gaps in your fit notes so whether you will receive the full amount, i have no idea. This will be down to a decision maker to decide.
If the decision is LCW then there's no extra money and nothing to backdate.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
