Is LCWRA back dated for this 3 month wait or does the money start a fresh from the month it begins?

Hi all, have just been awarded lcwra, I’m fully aware there is a three month ap, and now understand when I should hopefully receive my first payment. I just wanted to know is the money back dated for this three month wait or does the money start a fresh from the month it begins?
