On what basis do you currently get free prescriptions?
I note you have posted in the ESA section of the forum. If you were getting income based ESA that would entitle you to free prescriptions. However if your capital has gone over £16,000 you are no longer entitled to income based ESA. If you still get contribution based ESA this does not entitle you to free prescriptions.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
Does the same as mentioned apply to weather or not I can receive free Dental care on the NHS, please let me know?

As Calcotti has advised, free prescription entitlement comes with certain means tested benefits. With savings of more than £16,000 you won’t be claiming any of those so won’t be entitled to free prescriptions. NHS low income scheme is an option but with that amount of savings you may not qualify.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

If you are on income based ESA, have you told them about the change in your capital?Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

I informed the DWP that my savings/balance were £16,000 or more as soon as this was the case but I still am still receiving ESA of £114.30 a week. I received a letter back from them acknowledging that they were aware of my balance being £16,000 or more.
I expected to stop receiving any ESA on account of
my balance being £16000 or over which is why I am unsure weather or not I am or are are not entitled to NHS prescriptions and free NHS dental care. -
The £114.30 is your cont.based ESA which is not affected by savings over £16k, but you are not entitled now to prescriptions, dental treatment or opticians vouchers.
When your savings fall below £16k you should tell the DWP.
