Hi, I live in Chelmsford, my dad is new to using a wheelchair and I need replace the current front door with a new front door to enable wheelchair access. Has anyone had one installed in Chelmsford and could you recommend a manufacturer & fitter? Many thanks.

Welcome to the community @GKChelmsford It's great to have you with us.
I'm afraid I don't have a recommendation for a manufacturer or fitter in Chelmsford. I've moved your post into our aids, adaptations, and equipment category, and marked it as unanswered, so that other members with experience of this should be able to find it more easily.
I appreciate that you're looking for recommendations, but have you had a look online to see what options there are in Chelmsford, and whether there are any reviews? -
Many thanks Tori. I have looked elsewhere for reviews but not yet found much on the topic of wheelchair access. I'll keep looking. Regards GK of Chelmsford.

Hello @GKChelmsford
I'm sorry that you haven't had much luck with finding reviews about wheelchair access in Chelmsford. I've just had a quick search online and although this service does not look at wheelchair door access and specifically provides wheelchairs to users, it is based in Chelmsford, and it might be worthwhile contacting them to see if they have any recommendations from their point of view? Please see the link here to their website:
Please keep us updated on the process and let us know if we can help in any other way.
