Query Permitted work, esa support group

Hi

I was initially on esa contribution based in June 2020. In December 2020 I was placed in esa support group. In October 2020 I started a part time job for 7 hours a week. I sent In a pw1 form. I lost this job after 6 weeks but never informed dwp.

Yesterday i received a voicemail saying they needed to speak to me about my esa and send some information to me.

I tried to speak to dwp and they said it was job centre that tried to contact me as they need to get me to sign claimant commitment. Dwp told me I would continue to receive esa and it had not changed however I'm still concerned.

Does this mean I have been or going to be reassessed? Am I now in WRAG group if job centre need me to sign claimant commitment?

I'm concerned that they  saw my old Permitted work form and that this has or will trigger reassessment and move me into WRAG group before I'm ready. Should I inform them now about the loss of my permitted work job last year?

Dwp told me that They are due to call me in new year for claimant commitment.

Any help is appreciated

    Hi,
This will be for exactly as you were told, it's about your claimant commitment, everyone claiming New style ESA and Universal Credit will have a claimant commitment. As you claimed ESA during the lockdown your claimant commitments wouldn't have been formally agreed to.
Now local Job centres are open again they are sending out appointments for people to attend. It will be a very simple appointment that should last no longer than a few minutes. It's for you to agree to report any changes. Nothing at all to do with any review.
Although you should have reported the changes that you were no longer working, it shouldn't make any difference to your claim now. Just tell them during your appointment.
Just so that you're aware Support Group is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise.
