    Hey @Ashvinney

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a tough night and didn't sleep too well. I know when my sleep is compromised, I don't feel great at all, so I understand why you might be feeling anxious today. Do you currently have any support for your mental health via your GP?

Firstly, that's great news that you're speaking to a nurse this morning, as this should hopefully put your mind at ease about the type 2 diabetes. They will be able to provide you with tailored support and answer any questions that you might be unsure of. This will hopefully provide a bit more stability moving forward :)

There's clearly a lot of change going on in your life at the moment, and that can understandably bring a lot of emotion and feelings of instability. In these instances, routine can always be good and doing things/activities that make you feel good too. What type of activities/self care do you like to do when you feel a little overwhelmed?

I hope you're okay and we are all here for you on the community.

    Libby

I like to read or swimming to calm  me down but due to the covid have not been able to go swimming because the staff here were going to take me but is shut down so that's not going to happen so I've been doing a lot of reading that's what helps to calm me down, @Libby_Scope

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to go swimming as much as you'd like @Ashvinney - I find swimming so helpful for my mental/physical health too. It really relaxes me. Hopefully you'll be able to get back in the water soon. I also love reading and I'm glad to hear that helps you calm down. Is there anything in particular that you like to read? :)
