Hi I've been putting in fit notes since 01/07/20 and got a letter saying I don't have to look for work or do any activity as I've been accepted for both elements on the 19th Jan 2022 will I get back dated from then and how long does it take thank you

Hi,There's a full 3 month waiting period and the extra money is paid from the 4th month of your claim starting from when you first reported your health condition. When it's paid from exactly will depend on the dates of your assessment periods. Potentially from Nov/Dec 2020. It can sometimes take a few weeks to pay you any money that's owed. This is providing you're not claiming UC with a partner that already has the LCWRA element on your claim.0

Hello @Bondy007 and welcome to the forum. How are you today?
Just as a heads up, I've edited the title of your post, and moved it into our Universal Credit category so it's easy to find.
I hope poppy's reply has been helpful, but if there's anything else you're unsure about, then let us know.
