Hello,
I am sorting out evidence for PIP. Should I include my Work Capability Group award letter to show I am off work due to my mental health? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks, TIm

Hi,PIP is not about being unable to work and the letter telling you which group you've been placed into gives very little detail so i would say it really wouldn't be helpful.0

Welcome to the community @timphillips It can get confusing, so there's no need to worry about asking questions!
As poppy123456 has said, PIP isn't awarded based on your ability to work, so it might not be the most helpful. Do you have a few real world examples for each descriptor (pipinfo.net) that applies to you? People often find that's the best kind of evidence to provide.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been struggling with your mental health, too. Are you receiving enough support for that at the moment?
