PIP Review Time

Hi everyone my name is Sandra and I'm a new member.
I dont know if anyone can give me some advice please? Or if this has happened to you.
I submitted all my paperwork with full medical reports for PIP Review in July 2021. I still have not had an outcome to my review. I contacted PIP in November 2021 and January 2022, and was advised its with a decision maker.
I explained that it was 6 months since I submitted the review paperwork. I was told my existing claim does not end until 28th April 2022, so I could have to wait for the outcome then. Or, I might have to submit a brand new claim in April 2022 if case not looked at before then.
I have been receiving my PIP Allowance every month, so this is not my grievance. But, to be kept waiting 6 months or even 9 months if I have to wait till April for the outcome. And then be told I might need to submit new paperwork all over again, I find outrageous. The worry of waiting for the outcome is terrible.
Is this normal waiting times for a review?
Can they really make me re-supply all the same paperwork I supplied in July 2021 for the review, for a new claim if it goes to April 2022? This seems ridiculous when they would have it all already.
Any help or advice will be gratefully appreciated!
Sandra

Hi,Your waiting time is normal at the moment because there's huge backlogs all over the country. Some people are waiting as long as 10 month for a decision after sending their forms back.Sandra11 said:I might have to submit a brand new claim in April 2022 if case not looked at before then.
Who ever told you this is not correct. You sent the forms back so no further forms will be needed. Most people have assessments even for reviews so if you haven't had one of those yet then you should expect one. Nothing more you can do but wait.0 -
