Hi and welcome
There is no fixed time it is up to you if you want to leave
However most companies have a medical dismissal process they follow so that may he the better option than leaving on your own accord and sometimes they pay a severance payment
You need to check out the company policy . If there is no chance of a return to work they can start the process
Again You would also be better staying until any company sick pay ends
The start of the process is usually a referral to oh who will recommend future employment options0 -
Hello @boultonpaula and welcome to the community Thanks for your query, I would echo Teddybear's advice and see if you can talk to your HR department if you have one, and your doctor.
AdviceLocal might be worth looking at too, to find support and advice close to you.
If you have any other questions, please do let us know, and enjoy exploring the forum- you can use categories to find particular topics for discussion.
