No because as Calcotti has advised it doesn’t include the carers element. Therefore you need to do this..

Post a message as a payment query. Something along the lines of “As you know we both receive Carer’s Allowance and we therefore understand we are both entitled to the carer element as part of the calculation. These are not shown on our recent statement. Please review the statement.”

When he declared a health condition as part of the application process it asks if he has  a Fit Note. If he hadn’t I would expect a to do to appear asking him to provide one.

When did you make the claim?

No definitely not, as advised there should be two carer elements added and you need to ask about them.

We made the claim 4 weeks ago so it says statement due on monday payment on Friday next week but statement showed today.  I am sure when we said we were both carers it seemed to go down that route

Post a journal message as advised. The statement is wrong. You are entitled to another £326.
EDIT - See later post below.

Nowhere on universal have they asked about my husbands disabilty  just what rate of pips he gets  not as in what is wrong with him. The statement just says we will get a standard allowance of 509.91 and a housing of 550.00 then they took off 585.86 for both carers allowance leaving us with 801.51
Actually I’ve just looked at this post again and the arithmetic is wrong

£509.91 plus £550 = £1059.91. Deduct £585.86 = £474.05. So the figure of £801.51 they have said they will pay you does already include the two carer elements. Still worth checking because the carer element should be stated but the actual payment amount looks correct.

    It should say
    Standard allowance      £509.91
    Housing element          £550.00
    Carer element x 2        £327.46
    Maximum amount =   £1387.37

Minus unearned income (Carers Allowance x 2)   £585.86

    Amount payable = £801.51

The payment amount is correct. No need to spin. However if you need the statement clarifying post a message in your journal.
