Recent achievements
Last week I started again with my weight loss as I’ve not been trying recently. I worked really hard at it and I’ve lost 7 lbs in a week - half a stone. I also cooked some new things with some help and have driven on the motorway further than I have done for ages. Finally, I recently managed to finish and submit my latest assignment for my A level and got a score of 67% (a “B”) which I am not unhappy with.
To celebrate, I saw a bottle of champagne that was £9.99 down from £20 so purchased it to celebrate I’ve never heard of champagne for less than about £25 so usually it’s for special occasions. I’d never heard of the brand before but thought it was worth a try as it cost little more than a bottle of Prosecco so looking forward to having some of that tonight and over the next few days.
Feel free to share things you have achieved, even if it’s things that are small or insignificant to most other people but important to you.
I look forward to reading others submissions.
Thanks for reading.

This is brilliant news to share @66Mustang well done, sounds like your starting this year really positive - you be careful with the champers its stronger then you think - its all about the "bubbles" ha ha1

Thanks @SueHeath and @Teddybear12
Well done for getting the pots done, especially when you have shingles. I hope you start to feel better soon.1 -
@66Mustang well done you losing weight and doing more cooking I get a feeling this will be your year
@woodbine sorry about your eyes can totally empathise there
Not really achieved much apart from booking our holiday and buying my own wheels so I'm not governed by wheelchair services0 -
This is wonderful news @66Mustang, thank you for sharing it with us all what fantastic accomplishments - the champagne sounded like a well deserved treat!
I really like the idea of how you've encouraged others to share their achievements too. For me, it would be prioritising rest/sleep even though I've been super busy with work and my PhD

Well done on your achievements @66Mustang A B is really good, too, you should be proud of yourself!
I think mine is that I went to my first Meetup group recently, and met a few new people. I don't always find it easy to speak to people in social settings, but I tried to put myself out there a bit, and ended up having a good night.1 -
This thread has made me smile this morning . I have recently managed to write some Valentine's Day content and I'm going out for dinner with my sister to celebrate her graduation tomorrow, which is an achievement, considering that my brain has been a little scrambled lately1

Hope you've had a nice day @Danielle_2022 - nice to hear when people are having a social life x1

@Libby_scope that sounds awesome, I wish you the best of luck with it though I’m sure you don’t need the luck
@globster thank you very much for your kind words
@janer1967 I think it’s good to book well in advance as like you say it gives you something to look forward to, I hope you have a great time
@woodbine I’m sorry to hear that, and wish there was something I could suggest to help. I think I would just try to appreciate everything you can still look at right now to its fullest, not to say you don’t do that already. I’m always here to talk if you need to though, often I don’t have anything useful to say but always happy to listen.
@sandy_123 thank you
@tori_scope thank you and well done, that’s something I find hard too, I think you did well for managing to do that. I’m glad it ended up being a good night
@danielle_2022 I hope you have a great time and congrats to your sister!

Thanks @66Mustang, it can get a little overwhelming at times, but I generally enjoy studying and research so it's a nice role to do1
