Hi, my name is snaggletooth!

I had my right wrist fused,all went pretty well ,but I can't seem to go back to carpentry.my wrist start hurting and bruising on the elbow.the operation was in August,it's now Feb. Is it normal to be painful after 5 months?.also I haven't lifted anything over 20 lbs.by Doctors orders. I can only work a couples of days and then need to rest.i am 62 years old and been through a lot but feel I still could do my job. It's the only thing I know.does it get better?

    Hi,
    We are not medically trained here so won't be able to give you any medical advice. I'd advise you to speak to your GP if the pain isn't easing.

    I am afraid @poppy123456 is right in that we don't provide medical advice here at Scope so you would need to speak to your GP or another medical professional. However, I did just want to say sorry that you are struggling.
