edited February 2022 in Universal Credit (UC)
Hi I've had my medical assessments via a phone call a few days ago after being on the sick for 2 years (not on ESA/PIP) im a single parent on universal credit. My old manager has just got in touch and is willing to give me a job that will fit to my needs (I suffer from mood disorder) - so she will fit 2 shifts around when I'm not at a total low/high mood aprox 16 hours. I have no idea what I'm aloud to do? Can I take the job?

There are no restrictions on work you can do while treated as having LCWRA for UC. If the work contradicts reasons you were found to have LCWRA it might prompt a reassessment.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Welcome to the community @Mellywill33 :) Thank you for joining, and for making your first post!

I hope that calcotti's reply has cleared that up for you a little. This is something many people are worried about, but you can indeed work while on LCWRA.

It's good that your old manager is willing to be so accommodating. Are you looking forward to starting work again? Do you have any concerns?

I was also wondering whether you're receiving enough support to help you manage your mood disorder at the moment?
