Thank you Alex, i joined today just for support and advice. No one tells you what benefits you can get or are entitled to when you get sick . After working my whole life then becoming quite Ill I have found it a real struggle and also find it hard to get the right answers. I started with a hysterectomy in 2019 with a mass growth, and then chronic pain ,I had 2 heart attacks in November 2020 ,January 21 told I had the start of Cataracts, February 21 diabetes, September 21 Fibromyalgia which I am awaiting diagnosis. It has been a hard 3 years or so .0

Welcome to the community @dawn19
Indeed, many people feel quite lost in the benefits maze once their circumstances change. Are you now receiving the benefits you're entitled to?
I hope that your fibromyalgia diagnosis doesn't take too long!1 -
I am awaiting an appointment with rheumatology , and have a majority of benefits now sorted that has taken me months of waiting and struggling with no money, I quite understand how some people just can’t cope xx0

It sounds as though things are moving in a positive direction, even if they're still quite difficult @dawn19 Do you feel as though you have enough support around you to help you manage life with these conditions?0
