Hi Im retired with C O P D claiming the enhanced mobility component.
C O P D is an illness that has no cure that effects the operation of the lungs that will over time become worse.
I obtained an Ebike (pedal assist) for exercise but mainly to help slowdown the progression of the disease, my worry is that if seen riding the Ebike it would be seen that my condition and circumstances have changed for the better which it cannot and my benefit would be stopped, i would lose the mobility car used for Hospital, Doctor and shop use, im stuck on what to do if i get called in for a investigation as i've already been tipped off that dwp surveillance is on my home yet i've done nothing wrong

Thanks for posting @stealthy, I understand your concerns.
Firstly, I'm not sure who told you that DWP were watching your home but I'm sure that won't be the case, so please try your best not to worry about that.
If you aren't doing something that contradicts any of the reasons for which you are claiming PIP then you should be fine with your device. Was it something you started using upon the advice of your GP or medical team?0 -
No adive from GP or medical team only what i've read from internet health C O P D information how it can help slowdown the illness0

Hi and welcome
It all depends on why you were awarded the enhanced mobility eg what descriptor you scored the points for and why. If the exercise you are doing contradicts why you were awarded it could be an issue
If it doesn't then it should be OK0 -
I had a tip off from a neighbour who's relative works for them, a car has parked up in the cul-de-sack where i live, driver never gets out or anyone climbs into the car, stays five minutes drives off then back again and stays an hour to two hours each time any time of the day and late evening up till midnight some times with head lights on and times with them off, there not drug smokers because they never come back.0

I would take the "tip off" with a huge pinch of salt. DWP aren't just going to sit outside your house in a car and watch you like this, that's ridiculous.

You never know what the dwp would do.0

Not a bad idea, i told my next door neighbour who said he could be watching another as we have one neighbour who has all sorts visiting all times of the day and night.0
