Hi @Nicetomeetyou22 - I think unfortunately that this can be a common feeling. I'm fortunate in that my children are grown up, & my youngest understands more. I think many of us don't always have someone else who truly understands what you're going through, or how you're feeling, & it's easier sometimes to share this with relative strangers other than your partner/spouse/friends as we feel they may not understand, or you don't want to be a 'burden' to them, tho I certainly feel this is a discussion to be had. They can't know how you're feeling unless you tell them. You're the only one who truly understands what you're going through, unless like me you have a genetic disorder you've passed on to your children, so then they unfortunately may grow to understand.I can feel lonely too; sometimes I don't speak to anyone for 2-3 days, then my youngest comes around a couple of times a day in the next few days.Do let those important to you know how you're feeling....open up to them.4

@chiarieds thanks for your response 👍 I would talk to relatives if I had any too I got brought up in fostercare and now my so called mother has died and so has my father 2 of my brothers have died so has my sister and on top of that me and my partner lost our own son in 2019 he died inside of me he had Edwards syndrome and all of his organs were on the outside of his body bless him 😢 💔 I miss him so much my I don't have any friends where I live I'm a private person plus I don't like being around ppl which is linked to my health issues as I have cyst on brain autism silent epilepsy osteoarthritis social anxiety/anxiety my partner has his family about his 2 sisters and brother sometimes I envy him but it's not his fault how my life turned out @starman2022 thanks for your response I do hope you're OK I'm around if anyone wants a chat0

Morning Nicetomeetyou- You done the right thing in joining this group - i can be a private person, but i find on here i can discuss things i wouldn't necessarily share with my family.
You have been through a lot darling, and i do sense that you are still in the grieving process, this can make you feel lonely with your own feelings.
You know someone is here anytime you want a chat so stay intouch1 -
@SueHeath Thank you for your kind words of comfort ❤ I find it hard to talk to people I just bottle everything up as I don't want to be a burden on anyone 😔 I don't have any friends 😢 I have my partner and kids so I'm lucky that way I hope to make friends on here 😊 take care I hope to see you around 😊 ❤0

@Nicetomeetyou2; Yes I experience bouts of loneliness too. It’s a difficult issue to talk about sometimes. I do think it’s important to share how we are feeling with others that go through the same thing. Also finding the right person/people to connect with goes such a long way in helping our mental health and well-being.Hope you are ok.0

Its absolutely lashing it down0
-

Hi @Nicetomeetyou22
Thanks for your response. Sorry to hear you are having a tough time. It sounds like a quiet day for you today after a hectic weekend. Probably much needed!0 -
Ha ha i use a laptop for this kind of thing - can't cope with the new phone my son and his wife brought me - blumin "perdictive text" ha ha.
Oh no sorry about the rain - sun better then the kids can get out abit.
SIX kids wow i thought my 3 were bad enough when they were young, mind you i come from a family of 5 of us kids, it'l be great when they older darling. Do you like your days when the kids go back to school or do you get used to the noise etc when they off.0 -
@SueHeath I have 6 children here and 3 have complex needs they all keep me very busy I like it when my children are off school through the holidays I hate it when they go back to school as house is too silent for my liking haha well at the min I'm fighting to get my youngest a EHCP so he can attend a special needs school as he's not managing mainstream primary at the minute he's only doing 8.45am till 11.15am Mon to Fri and mainstream school is not the right education setting for him plus they can't cater for he's needs0
-
Morning @Nicetomeetyou22 wow you must be a bizi bee'
Bless you - not like a lot of Moms that can not wait for kids to go back to school - not long till Easter holiday ha ha.
I bet you have to spend a lot of time with your chores when their all at school - why not put some music on so it's not to silent.
I know how hard it can be with the battle for special needs schools. One of my Nephews is autistic, he come on leaps and bounds when he got his place, he's 19yrs old now and has gone to a special college he does seem very happy there - he will be there till he's 25.
Hope your battle does not go on to long x1 -
MORNING 🌄 @SueHeath I hope your well today 😊 sun is shining here I have put my radio on and cleaned and bleached all my downstairs 😀 I feel okish today I'm just trying not to dwell on things well I have a information meeting on Monday over teams meeting or at school regarding my sons EHCP and then I will get my answer no later than the 20th of march and if the council refuse my son it then off court I go as I will appeal it xxx1

-
@Libby_Scope thank you for taking your time to reply most of the time I just keep my problems etc to myself I find it easier that way as don't want to be a burden on anyone when I know everyone has there own problems without mine so I just manage my problems head on or try 20
