A warm welcome to the community from me too @amandab
I haven't been through this process myself, so I can't offer any advice in that sense, but I did find these template letters on IPSEA's website, which you may find helpful? As teddybear12 has said, IPSEA would be a good organisation to get in touch with for advice on this. I hope that another parent or carer on the community who's been through this will be in touch soon, too!
