Essential hand tremor

Hi everyone.
I have had essential right hand tremor for about 8 years now and was previously an electrical engineer, I received a severe electrical shock around the time my Tremors began.
My tremors manifest when doing fine movements ie screwdriver to screw head... Holding liquid in a cup.. Removing a tea bag etc.
Also with right hand extended palm down or side on... But not with the palm up?.?
Today I thought I was having a stroke as a tingling over the right side of my head and right side of my body was felt but went away as suddenly as it had occurred...
I am at present experiencing NO Tremors when doing any of the above mentioned triggers... Has anyone else experienced or heard of anything similar to this, I pray its permanent.

Hi @RPQ and welcome to the community, I'm a bit worried to hear you thought you were having a stroke. Please don't hesitate to call 999 if you do feel like you're in any immediate danger.
The NHS has more details on the symptoms of a stroke, but the main stroke symptoms can be remembered with the word FAST:- Face – the face may have dropped on 1 side, the person may not be able to smile, or their mouth or eye may have drooped.
- Arms – the person may not be able to lift both arms and keep them there because of weakness or numbness in 1 arm.
- Speech – their speech may be slurred or garbled, or the person may not be able to talk at all despite appearing to be awake; they may also have problems understanding what you're saying to them.
- Time – it's time to dial 999 immediately if you notice any of these signs or symptoms.
Have you spoken to your GP about your concerns with the tremors at all? They may be able to confirm the cause of your tremors and help you work to manage or reduce them.
If there's anything you're unsure of, or anything you feel we can help with further, please do ask.
