When's the cut off point for evidence for appeal?

I have already done an MR for pip and want to appeal on my MR it says for the purpose of this reconsideration we can only Consider how your condition affected you until the date of the decision. So does that mean my evidence can be up to the date of the decision after my assessment? Or does it mean when I sent in my original review form? I’m not sure what is the cut off point for evidence? Thank you

Hi there @Ruby123 I've marked your post as unanswered as I'm afraid I don't know the exact answer to your query, but I'm sure our members will do, so hopefully they can share their thoughts soon.

I hope you have a lovely evening in the meantime, and don't hesitate to ask if you need anything :)

I think it's 4 weeks to mention you're appealing and then you have another for weeks to send the apeal and remember to get copies of your medical notes!

That's not the question being asked.

Both the MR and the appeal can only consider whether or not the original decision was correct at the time it was made. They therefore consider how our health affected you at that time and any change in how your health has affected you since then cannot be considered. However if you have evidence that helps explain your difficulties that time it doesn't matter if the evidence itself was produced later.

Remember however that much medical evidence isn't all that helpful because it doesn't address how you are affected by your health.

I see no need to that with this question because it's been answered by calcotti.
