Hi,That's not long at all to be waiting. Backlogs are huge and some people are waiting several months and more for an assessment. Therefore based on other members here you'll likely be waiting longer than those extra 3 weeks. For peace of mind you can ring the Health Assessment Advisory Service and tell them you'll be in hospital during X dates. https://chdauk.co.uk/about-us/contact-us/

I spoke to them last week. I had waited 3 months before I was referred by UC, so I am already on month 4. Anyway, they rang me last week as apparently, I had missed something out on the form. I asked them how long it would take and would I have to wait another 3 months for an assessment? The person on the phone said that they had caught up on the backlogs. I don't know how true this is, but I thought I would share it0
