I'm due to be offered a new home in another city to be near family as I need their help. My son is my carer so will be close to him as I have no one here to help me. Removal costs will be about £500 and like most people I'm struggling with the cost of living never mid this extra cost. Is there anyone I can turn to for help please. I'm on higher rate a Pip and get UC with ESA element.

You can apply for a discretionary Housing Payment (DHP) for help with cost of moving house. It’s not guaranteed but if you don’t apply you’ll never know. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/claiming-discretionary-housing-payments/claiming-discretionary-housing-payments1
