Hope you can help, My father gets highest rate of DLA for care but nothing for mobility, even though he is bed ridden most of the day, getting stair lift fitted and walk in shower, I rang DLA hotline but they said, because of his age, 77, he cant get anything for mobility, is that the case plus could I get him any other benefits etc, thank you in advance.

Hi @sajirussell, have you tried perhaps contacting Citizens Advice to discuss about possible other benefits your father might be eligible for? I also recommend having a look at the “Benefit and Finance Support “ discussion https://forum.scope.org.uk/categories/what-benefits-am-i-entitled-to-
