@SueHeath I'm drained I just want my painkillers tbh this osteoarthritis I feel as though its taking over my life I feel like a prisoner in my own home can you suggest what other meds is good for severe osteoarthritis darling ? I hope you slept well sending you my love ๐ย xxx0
-
@janer1967 enjoy your sleep ๐ดย xxx0

I can't tell you @Nicetomeetyou22 the site don't like us advising/recommending on meds because everyone is different. I am on a right cocktail tho and a lot of it is trial and error, don't forget i've had it a longggg time darling. Some of the early drugs they gave me have been banned now and they caused a lot of damage to people.
I do find tho that you need time on new drugs to let it get in your system before it works properly and some of my drugs i have to take at the same time each day bab.
ย One Doctor i had years ago, he was great, always used to say it takes your body 6 months to get used to new pain and you should feel your pain so you don't over do things and cause yourself more damage - hope that makes sense my friend xx1 -
@SueHeath thanks doc has had me on dihydrocodiene for 2 years and a doctor at urgent care said yesterday what I said because I have been on them so long now my body has got uses to them ๐ and stopped working I mean I was only 39 when I got diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis which h my doc said he doesn't know how I ended up with it at such a young age darling xx0
-
Bless you i know what it's like @Nicetomeetyou22 i was 28 bab and i'm still here ha haย
Mine runs in the family mainly through the women,ย
I do know what you are saying tho with your body getting used to drugs.
I hope the doc sorts you soon xxx0 -

Hi @Nicetomeetyou22 did the Doctor sort you out this morning xx0
-
Hello @SueHeath yes he did he's put me on amitriptyline for now he's made a urgent appointment for me to have my blood took as it always comes back abnormal I think he mentioned something about looking for something more sinister in my blood so once I have my blood took a anxious 48 hr wait I'm scared ๐ฑย xxx0
-
Hi @Nicetomeetyou22 the wait can be scary I understand, at the moment it's unknown.
I'm glad you've been sorted out with amitripyline this morning, and it sounds like the doctor just wants to make some checks to help make sure that you're being looked after to best of their ability.ย
The wheels are in motion for those checks now, and hopefully it won't be too much longer until you know more. If you can try and focus on something you enjoy to help the time pass. You've done all you need to do0 -
@Alex_Scope thank you for your kind words xx1
-
Yep @Nicetomeetyou22 your over worrying the doc's need to check our bloods to keep an eye on liver production and look for any extra crystals in our blood associated with uncle Arther as i call it.ย
Hopefully new tabs will start working and at least you can have your normal sleep back darling.
As they say "Tomorrow is another Day" xx0 -
