@SueHeath we haven't been away but I'm InTouch with family fund I can get 1,000 per child per year for things like holidays laptops white goods beds etc or anything my disabled children need but I haven't used them for about 8 years since my eldest was 5 but they need holiday so I'm applying through them and I'm lucky I have good pal with taxi firm he will take us there and bk but charge us much less than anybody else darling xxxx0
-
@SueHeath the 1,000 a year is only for my disabled children xxx0

I know what your talking about ha ha my sister in law gets it for my nephew, in the past she has had to get things for his bedroom as he trashed it and extra clothes because he went through a phase of chewing his clothes.
They have been to Centre parks a lot but as Ryan (my nephew) is changing again since he turned 19yrs they have rented a house in Wales for the week this year, they have to travel by train - Ryan loves trains.
My sister in law is always saying it's not a holiday for her though bless, so god knows how you cope @Nicetomeetyou22 as much as you love them and do things to make them happy i bet this makes your own health worse. xxx0 -
@SueHeath I'm not going to lie sometimes it can be hard but I have to get on with it they are my kids I love them to bits I had bit of meltdown yesterday as my 7 year old who has autism epilepsy hyper mobility speech problems and sensory issues he's also behind for his age and has learning difficulties has started hitting me and his dad alot he also bites so I had bit of cry because I don't like seeing him like that darling xxxx0
-
I know @Nicetomeetyou22 it is sad but unfortunatly it's life as well, i am glad you didn't abandon your children like people in the Victorian period did.
