just took my blood pressure it's 147/87

That falls in the ‘high’ bracket. I’ve struggled with my BP since I was 13 (many, many years) and have taken multiple different strong medications since then, I am only thin too. I remember when I went about a completely different issue when I was much younger and the GP looked up and said ‘you’ve got the blood pressure of an obese 80 year old’ haha. 

I hope you don’t have it and if you do I think you’ll get treated appropriately

Thank you @bg844 yes it's high but I need to take blood pressure morning and night and record it in the diary doc has gave me for a week I'm booked into see doc again on Tuesday then he's going to look at my readings and take things from there you see heart problems run in my family my cousin had a pacemaker fitted at 42 I'm 41 my dad had a treble heart bypass so called mother had heart problems my so called mum and dad are dead now xxx

I'm okay thanks @L_Volunteer,I was stuck indoors waiting for someone who's been and gone now.

They were a couple of hours late though,which seems to be how a lot of people roll these days.

I spent the afternoon working in my partner's parents' garden;we're hoping that if we give it a good tidy up now we won't have to worry about it again until next spring.
