I think they’re trying to catch up with the back log @Nicetomeetyou22. I had to cancel my appointment with rheumatology because I had Covid, haven’t got another one through yet, probably going to have to wait awhile.1

I was under the impression if it was a investigation cancer referral they had to give an appointment within a month but I'm not sure I may have got it all wrong
I thought that is what you were being under tests for due to the trial cancer meds you were prescribed my apologies if I've got it wrong0 -
its OK @janer1967 they keep taking my blood for now and the main 2 things they are looking for keep rising I'm also waiting on an appointment to go for another stomach biopsy as my last 1 came back inconclusive I had an appointment booked with the gastro clinic but they rung me and said they had to cancel and they will be rearranging it hun0

@Teddybear12 sorry to hear about your mum my mum also died of cancer aswell I think it depends where you live for appointments tbh I had to wait 20 weeks for an appointment for my son they maybe a back log here I don't know I sit and wait for my post every morning like a lemon haha2

@Teddybear12 I also go to docs every 2 weeks for blood and they always come back abnormal0

Personally I don't think you should be waiting this length of time it must be playing on your mind can't your gp chase it up for you0

@janer1967 I'm going to ask him in the morning it's like he refered my lil girl to pediatrics team about 6 weeks ago still no appointment for her0

Yes chase it up I know there are delays but any concerns over cancer should be a priority1
