Good afternoon all, i had a pip nurse call for my daughter 2 weeks ago! My daughter will not talk on the phone so I do all her talking as she doesn’t understand a great deal! Any who today I received another call from someone at Dwp who deals with pip. She’s sending me out a copy of the report so that I can read it before they make a decision…. Has anyone else had this and what was the outcome? Sorry for the long post

Hi,They don't usually send out the reports unless you specifically ask for it to be sent. It's not always a good idea to have a copy of this before the decision's been made because it can cause even more anxiety. One thing to remember is the report is the assessors opinion based on everything you sent and what was said during the assessment. It's not the decision.A decision can take between 2-12 weeks.0

I didn’t ask for the report she just said she was going to send me what the nurse had wrote and that I had to tell the weather it was right or wrong!?0

That's the first time i've ever heard of this happening.

That does seem unusual @mrsblewis! I don't recall anyone posting on the community with that experience before. Would you be able to let us know how it goes?1

**update** Dwp sent out the report and I asked me to read through what the nurse had wrote! I now understand why they sent it to me and asked me to check with it as the nurse had contradicted herself on a few pages so didn’t make sense. All went well with phone call today to say that have had made their decision.0
