Hi everyone. Is it true that the DWP is reassessing recent PIP claims following new rules? Or does this only apply to Scotland?

I wouldn't say this is anything to do with Scotland and the new Adult disability payment. Those that are currently claiming PIP will be automatically moved accross and no assessment will be needed.

There are various reviews going on. These are prompted by changes in legal interpretation which require DWP to carry out reviews when they have been found to have misapplied the law. The rules aren't new, but they way they are applied has changed.Seeking123 said:Hi everyone. Is it true that the DWP is reassessing recent PIP claims following new rules?
