That's right @marcus93 yes
If you're still unsure when you go in, you can always ask them to explain everything for you.0 -
When I go into job centre do I say I have applied for pension credit on behalf of my grandad then what do job centre do with bus pass and bank statement0
-
They will copy them and give them back to you0
-
Yes that's right @marcus93 they'll probably check them, and if they need to they might photocopy them and give them back to you.
Checking his ID at the job centre will help you complete the application on your grandads behalf.0 -
Please be aware that the Pension Service are taking well in excess of 6 months to process a new Pension Credit claim and get it into payment.
Also from my own bitter experience you must ensure that if your grandad's income changes at any time, even by 1p you are required to notify the Pension Service. Likewise if his income reduces by more than a 1p that also must be reported.0 -

It won't arrive by tomorrow. It will be signed for by someone from Royal Mail sorting office and not someone from DWP. Pointless sending anything to DWP by recorded delivery because of this reason. It often takes a few weeks to be added to the system. Proof of posting is all that's needed and is free from any post office.

No i know what lady said she works behind the counter and she said it dose why would she tell lies come on0

Its garrteeted to get there tomorrow if it doesn't then simply get my money back0

When sending post to DWP it never ever arrives in the DWP building the following day.It will arrive at the sorting office and by signed by someone from Royal Mail. The person in the post office will probably not have known that.0
